    World War Z (2008)

This is a book made up of interviews with survivors of the zombie breakout, which had just ended. You get to hear the individual's stories about how they had to combat the living dead and other survivors at the time. The people being interviewed varied from like French soldiers that were fighting in the catacombs in Paris all the way to astronauts that happened to be unlucky enough to be stranded in the International Space Station during the whole outbreak.

I did a "Zombie Run" 5K in Perry, GA over the weekend. It was really neat because the entire set up was based on the Walking Dead and its different scenaries. They had cars that were water damaged from big name natural disasters (such as Hurricane Katrina). So they had them strategically placed where it looked like these were brand new cars that were all wrecked and abandoned once the "apocalypse" occurred. They had people hiding underneath and behind objects and cars, and when you passed them, they would come out running at you chasing you, trying to kill you by stealing your flag. It was probably my most favorite 5K I've ran because they were genuinely scary. Your adrenaline is pumping hard the entire time causing you to ignore all fatigue.
